Oyeleye Moses.
Moses Oyeleye(b. 1993) , also known as Leye, is known for his realistic portraits which are majorly done with ballpoint pen.
His works are recognised for his beautiful rendering of figures with vivid cross-hatching pen strokes on paper and other possible surfaces. He doubles as a songwriter and vocalist who performs Christian Soul and R&B music. Leye was the first runner up of the #drawingbigchurchchallenge in 2017. A competition that required artists to draw the portrait of Churchill Olakunle. Two times participant of the yearly Life In My City Art Festival, he has made it to the top 25 artists and was awarded the Viewers’ Choice Award in 2018. He was part of the exhibiting artist in Nbari Uno “One House exhibition at Nbari Uno, Ikeja in 2019, and also one of the 10 exhibiting artist in “Diversiform 3”, held at Arthub, Adekunle in November 2020.
